  5. This is a stuffed and binhexed utility application for
  6. converting Microsoft Word RTF files, including most formula codes,
  7. into Plain TeX files. 
  8.  
  9. It is almost *certain* that editing the converted document
  10. will be necessary to produce a TEXT file that can be read with a TeX
  11. processor, however, this utility should take some pain out of converting
  12. a technical Word document to TeX (especially mathematics).

  14.         * Runs under System 6 or 7
  15.         * Does batch processing
  16.         * Conversion tables in dialog resources (Is this a "feature"?)
  17.  
  18. Included is a document file written in Microsoft Word and a "before" and
  19. "after" file. I have also included the end result of conversion with
  20. rtf2tex, a public domain Unix version, which apparently is designed with a
  21. different task in mind.
